Bear fat has traditionally been used by many indigenous cultures around the world. From soothing sore muscles, healing skin ailments (excema, burns, rashes) to applying to hair to create shine and a healthy oil balance.

My ancestors used bear fat to seal their leather and clothing to protect it from the harsh Arctic climate. (I seal my traditional Sámi reindeer leather shoes with bear fat too!)
